Routine servicing
As a precaution against failure, it is a good idea to keep your boiler healthy and check it’s working efficiently by having an annual service
MRB Heating can ensure your boiler is performing correctly, and minimise the risk of a costly breakdown requiring an emergency callout.
When we service your boiler we will carry out the following –
– A visual inspection to confirm the boiler meets current standards, look for leaks and corrosion, and check that the flame in the boiler (if applicable) looks correct.
– Removing the boiler casing to check internal components, also includes cleaning out the heat exchanging chamber.
– Check the flue for obstruction, ensuring it is fitted correctly with no loose fittings.
– Gas pressure test.
– Boiler working test, monitoring the boiler when fired up and in use for a period to check for any working faults.
Boiler repairs
If your boiler has broken down, we can (in most cases) diagnose and repair the problem. Alternatively we will advise if it is uneconomical to repair the existing boiler.
A boiler can break down at any time, and it always happens when you least expect it!
An annual boiler service is the only preventative maintenance we would recommend to try and catch any problems early on, but if the worst does happen then MRB Heating are on hand for your urgent boiler repairs. We will endeavor to diagnose and repair your boiler as soon as possible, be it gas, combi or oil. We source parts only from quality manufacturers to carry out our repairs.
What systems we work on
GAS
If your property has a mains natural gas supply, your heating system will most likely run on this gas supply. A gas combi boiler is normally the most common type of heating if this is an option.
LPG
LPG is most commonly used where no mains gas supply is available, but the heating systems work mostly in the same way, and the boilers on offer will work in a similar way.
OIL
Oil is also used where no mains fuel supply is available, we can fit or replace new Oil fired boilers in the same way as any other boiler.
